With the mission of bringing the essence of international contemporary visual arts education to Vietnam, VCVAA proudly announces to parents and students the Workshop Print Making event with Artist Ruairi Fallon – an education partner from UALSC – scheduled to take place on April 14, 2024. The Workshop with Artist Ruairi Fallon on Relief Printing is one of the practical art events marking the beginning of the Academy’s efforts to provide students with access to the Short Course Visual Arts Education Program from University of the Arts London (UALSC) – a strategic partner of VCVAA. We believe that with the collaboration of UALSC and Artist Ruairi Fallon, our beloved students will take new strides on their journey of exploration and development in contemporary visual arts.

WORKSHOP CONTENT WITH ARTIST RUAIRI FALLON
Topic: Relief Printing Art
• Activity 1 (10′): Getting to know the artist
• Activity 2 (20′): Ideation and sketching of images
• Activity 3 (45′): Carving technique and creating marks on wood surface
• Activity 4 (25′): Using ink to transfer images from print to fabric
• Activity 5 (15′): Cleanup and conclusion
