The Photography course at the Visual Contemporary Art Academy Vietnam (VCVAA) is not just about instructing students on how to operate and use a regular camera. What’s more important is that students are encouraged to explore and practice creativity in every perspective through the lens of the camera, under the guidance and feedback from the teaching staff.
The session on Light Painting, also known as “painting with light,” is a photography technique where a mobile light source (such as LED lights, flashlight, or fire) is used as a brush to create magical and vivid images. The camera is set to a long exposure mode to capture the movement of light, resulting in images envisioned and experimented by both teachers and students.
