“There is no box!” is the end-of-course art exhibition featuring three groups of students from the Exploration program, designed for ages 5-8 at the Vietnam Contemporary Art Academy (VCVAA). The program aims to enhance the visual art experience across various visual art mediums such as drawing, painting, cutting/collage, printing, handicrafts, combined art, 3D modeling, etc. Additionally, the program focuses on supporting students in creating meaningful artworks to develop confidence in creativity and expression through art.
The exhibition includes the following display areas:

9. Freedom
For a class at VCVAA, free drawing is an indispensable ‘culture’ in every session of your Exploration class. At the age of 5-8, children draw to tell stories, so free drawing is a ‘culture.’ Free drawing creates space for students to connect with themselves and express on paper through visual means. Adults need to fully embrace the child’s “being” on paper to listen, understand, and empathize more.
