With the desire to provide a pioneering education program, following international standards for students with diverse outstanding art subjects, the Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) officially opens a short course in Comics – Storytelling with Art. Through this course, students will gain knowledge related to the process of creating comics, from ideation to completion, and how to structure the plot according to the “Freytag’s Pyramid” framework.

To provide parents and students with additional opportunities to experience and learn more about the activities in the class and the curriculum of this brand new short course in comics, VCVAA is organizing two workshop sessions for comic drawing practice, featuring experienced Authors, Artists, and Comic Editors in the field, aiming to create an exchange opportunity and open up an experiential space for students to spend a day as “comic artists”
