As the exclusive partner of the short-term educational program from the University of the Arts London (UALSC) in organizing competitions and awarding UAL Graded Awards in Vietnam, Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) recently organized a special training session exclusively for its teaching staff. The training session was attended by the UAL representative, Mr. Matthew Moseley, Chief Examiner for Level 3 Art & Design and Short Courses, with the purpose of sharing essential information and knowledge to understand and effectively implement the procedures related to organizing competitions and awarding UAL Graded Awards.
The training session provided an opportunity for VCVAA’s teaching team to grasp fundamental and crucial information regarding the organization process, competition categories, submission requirements for participants, evaluation criteria, and grading methods based on Grading Grids. Additionally, it served as a platform for VCVAA and the UAL representative to connect and discuss to achieve consensus in implementing procedures related to organizing competitions and awarding UAL Graded Awards at VCVAA.
