The Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) was honored to host a delegation from the University of the Arts London (UAL) in a meaningful collaborative meeting on March 5th. Representing VCVAA were Mr. Thanh Bui, the Director General, and Ms. Thao An, the Executive Director, who warmly welcomed Ms. Aliya Sorgen, the Head of Global Partnerships & Mobility at UAL, and Mr. George Maxwell, the Global Partnerships Coordinator. This event marked the commencement of a close collaboration between the two institutions.
With a vision to lead in providing opportunities for education and training that meet international standards, VCVAA is honored to be the Exclusive Partner in Vietnam, collaborating officially with the short-term educational program from the University of the Arts London (UALSC), the largest art and design university in Europe, and a global leader in teaching and research. This partnership aims to enhance the quality of international education opportunities for Vietnamese students.
It provided an opportunity for UAL representatives to explore internationally standardized classrooms and innovative art spaces at VCVAA, gaining insights into the outstanding artworks and understanding the artistic processes of VCVAA’s students.
The shared vision and mission of both organizations in bringing visual arts education programs to students aged 2 to 18 were emphasized. The goal is not only to establish a high-quality educational journey but also to create value that fosters the development of essential skills through contemporary visual arts. As the exclusive partner of UALSC, VCVAA aspires to offer even more opportunities for students, enabling them to access the pinnacle of art education from the largest arts and design university in Europe. This collaboration aims to support students in learning, expanding their knowledge, and encouraging creativity under the guidance of leading experts.
