For VCVAA, each student is a seed full of creative potential. A seed will sprout and bloom naturally when given enough nourishment and care. Embarking on the journey of “growing up” is the act of “UNVEILING” one’s outer shell to expand the mind and embrace new and exciting practices. Unveiling allows for a confident “ADVENTURE” in the world of imagination and in one’s own life experiences, connecting them in artistic creations that hold many stories. As one matures, the seed can grow tall and “ECHO” its artistic voice with even more vibrancy. This journey of growth is profoundly proud and “BLOOMING” with a spectrum of emotions and creative hues.

“BLOOMING” is an art exhibition featuring students from the Discovery (5-7 years old), Foundation (8-11 years old), and Advanced (12+ years old) programs at the Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA). The exhibition aims to capture and appreciate the artistic development of each student, fostering confidence and motivation for continued learning and practice.

The exhibition serves as a gratitude gift to the collective of teachers and parents – the passionate “gardeners” on the journey of planting and nurturing the seeds of creativity and happiness in artistic practice. VCVAA believes that inevitable magic happens when these seeds have enough trust and support for a blossoming journey full of vibrant colors.

Parents and visitors are invited to practice seeing and listening to the artworks in three exhibition areas of “BLOOMING”:

• “Unveil” Zone welcomes us to the garden of many wonders waiting to be explored. You can witness these wonders through the diversity of themes, art forms, and materials for exploration. This area displays works of students from Module 1 of the Discovery program (5-7 years old).

• “Adventure” Zone opens up a journey into the inner world to explore a world full of dreams, joys, hobbies, and personal thoughts in life. This area showcases works of students from Module 2 of the Discovery program (5-7 years old).

• “Echo” Zone invites everyone to listen to the inner voice and admire the growth in thinking and artistic practice in students of the Foundation (8-11 years old) and Advanced (12+ years old) programs.

The BLOOMING exhibition will take place from December 9 to December 31 at VCVAA Flagship in the Youth Cultural House of Ho Chi Minh City, 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.
