Mid-Autumn Festival 2023 Celebration with VCVAA and Arts Nation
In the year 2023, we, the Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA), are filled with joy and immersed in the festive atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival. This occasion is not only a traditional celebration for children but also an excellent opportunity to honor family, connect through art and movement, and create lasting memories.
On this special occasion, we proudly collaborate with Arts Nation Youth Cultural Center in Ho Chi Minh City to bring a series of unique activities called “Art & Movement with the Moon.” This is not just an ordinary event; it is a special appreciation gift from VCVAA and Arts Nation dedicated to our esteemed parents and students.
“Art & Movement with the Moon” is not only a blend of art and movement but also an opportunity to create memorable experiences for you and your family. We aim to turn this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival into a distinctive celebration, a memory filled with art, creativity, and movement.
Details of the program:
• Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2023
• Venue: Arts Nation Youth Cultural Center, 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
• Participants: The program is exclusively for students of VCVAA and Arts Nation.
• Registration deadline: September 22, 2023
Note:
• Limited registration slots: 15 students.
• The activity is free of charge.
• Due to limited slots, after registration, parents are kindly requested to wait for confirmation of successful registration via email.
Program content:
- Mid-Autumn Lantern Crafting (50 minutes):
In this activity, we aim to awaken your and your family’s creativity by crafting handmade Mid-Autumn lanterns. Each student will be paired with a parent to participate in this experience. We believe that creating a lantern by hand is not only an artistic endeavor but also an opportunity to build memories and produce unique artworks together. At the VCVAA Academy Studio located in the basement of Arts Nation Youth Cultural Center, you and your child will be guided by talented instructors to create beautiful lanterns.
- Hip Hop Dance Experience (50 minutes):
With this activity, we take you into the dynamic and vibrant world of Hip Hop dance. Students will have the opportunity to learn from professional trainers at the Dance Studio Arts Nation – 3rd floor of Arts Nation Youth Cultural Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Hip Hop dance is not just a physical activity; it’s a way to express oneself and connect with music. We believe that each dance move and gesture will create memorable experiences for you and your child.
At ‘Art & Movement with the Moon’ we aim not only to connect generations within families but also to create unique artistic and movement experiences. We hope that the memories made during this program will become unforgettable and impactful moments in your life and your family’s.
