The Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) is partnering with Special Em’s Education Group (SEEG) to introduce a series of visual arts workshops for children with special rights, starting with Workshop #1: Decoding the Voice Within.
The “Decoding the Voice Within” workshop, organized by VCVAA and VICA, is designed for parents of children with special rights. It aims to provide knowledge about methods and learning environments that can help these children improve, particularly highlighting the role of visual arts education as a magical communication tool that opens up their world, allowing them to express themselves more creatively and effectively, and helping parents and others understand them better.
MAIN CONTENT:
1. Seminar: “Decoding the Voice Within”:
• Understanding the Special Needs of Children
• Providing Knowledge on Methods and Learning Environments
• Raising awareness to help parents better understand the challenges and opportunities faced by children with special rights.
• Introducing parents to visual arts education, including basic tools and skills to create an engaging learning environment for special children.
• Visual Arts as a creative language for special children, enhancing self-expression and helping them discover a happier version of themselves.
2. Workshop – Creative Mixed-Media Frame Activity:
• Parents will create their own art frames using various materials provided.
• Through hands-on art practice, parents will understand how visual arts can support and help special children improve their ability to express themselves and communicate more creatively and happily.
