With the aim of providing parents and students with an opportunity to experience and learn more about the upcoming short course in storytelling with art at the Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA), this Saturday, join VCVAA in the workshop “SINGLE-PAGE COMIC DRAWING” for an exchange and practical comic drawing session with artist Linh Rab, who has over 15 years of experience in comic creation and illustration.

During the workshop, students will:

• Get to know each other and learn about the comic creation process from artist Linh Rab.

• Quickly understand character design and practice drawing characters.

• Analyze a single-page comic and practice drawing a comic with 4 panels.

• Share their work and summarize their learnings.

• Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2023

• Venue: Youth Cultural House – 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1

• Target audience: For students aged 8 and above
