VISITING THE EXHIBITION “projecting a thought” WITH VCVAA ADVANCED DRAWING STUDENTS
In the creative complex revived from the old TĐX Ice Factory, VCVAA Advanced Drawing students visited “projecting a thought” – an ambitious solo exhibition by artist Ngô Đình Bảo Châu. Here, students immersed themselves in a multi-material world: sculpture, oil painting, video installation, and Trúc Chỉ works made from fabric and natural fibers.
Each artwork evoked reflections on how the vast world is mirrored through the body – and how the body, in turn, projects itself back onto the world. With guidance and thought-provoking questions from teachers, students didn’t just see the works; they learned to observe, analyze, and respond with their own perspectives.
Beyond studio practice, exhibition visits are precious opportunities for VCVAA learners to expand their artistic worldview. In this vivid and inspiring environment, they nurture aesthetic sensitivity and find the fuel to continue their creative journey.
