PLAYING SHADES, CATCHING COLORS – THE BOLD VOICE OF VISUAL ART

PLAYING SHADES, CATCHING COLORS – THE BOLD VOICE OF VISUAL ART
What stories can the vibrant and striking colors around us tell? That very question sparked an exciting journey in the “Pop Art: Playing Shades – Catching Colors” session of the Foundation class at VCVAA.
Led by Chú Môi – a young artist known for his bold, vibrant style in Collage and Abstract Art – the class turned into an inspiring adventure through colors and imagery. The students were introduced not only to the history and distinct features of Pop Art, but also learned how to create dynamic, eye-catching color palettes that embody the spirit of this iconic art movement.
These insightful lessons laid the foundation for sharpening their critical thinking and analytical skills, empowering them to confidently express their perspectives while exploring legendary Pop Art works.
As always, hands-on practice was an essential part of the session. The students eagerly jumped into creating their very own Pop Art pieces under familiar themes like Portraits or Favorite Foods – drawing inspiration from everyday life. Each student was encouraged to experiment boldly with colors, materials, and forms, turning every piece into a personal statement full of character and emotion.
Sessions like “Playing Shades – Catching Colors” open doors to a world where visual art meets life, culture, and personal expression. Let’s continue this creative journey with VCVAA and tell your artistic stories with colors!
