ART & WORK: THE REAL CREATIVE PROCESS OF A FASHION DESIGNER

The second event in the Art & Work series under the Student Life Enrichment program, dedicated to the students of the Vietnam College of Visual Arts and Architecture (VCVAA), was an exciting affair with the theme “THE REAL CREATIVE PROCESS OF A FASHION DESIGNER.”
Under the guidance of Mr. Phat – an experienced fashion designer/practitioner, students had the opportunity to listen and gain deeper insights into the creative process of a true fashion designer. This was a completely novel experience for the students, as they delved directly into understanding the intricacies of the design process, from initial ideas to final product completion.
Particularly noteworthy in the activity was the chance for students to “test their skills” as designers, handpicking raw materials, arranging, and assembling them on 2D model forms, crafting unique fashion style concepts of their own. The session not only imparted valuable knowledge about the fashion industry to the students but also served as a bridge for creatively inclined individuals to explore their own potential.
This summer, VCVAA will be launching a fashion design course for students who are passionate or curious about experiencing this exciting art form. Stay tuned to VCVAA for the latest updates on upcoming activities and special events happening throughout May!
