GENERAL

The program is designed for students who wish to develop a structured visual arts capacity. LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Develop a practical art thinking group that includes exploration and experimentation, imagination, expression, artwork development, observation, evaluation, passion, and perseverance, while understanding the art world.
2. Enhance knowledge and the ability to apply elements (such as line, shape, color, and material) and design principles (such as rhythm) in the creative process.
3. Practice and enhance techniques and skills in using a variety of materials and tools for creation.
4. Develop the ability to appreciate, describe, and analyze artworks.
5. Expand knowledge about the history and world of visual arts.

METHOD

The lessons are designed based on the ‘Studio Thinking’ approach, focusing on developing artworks through a process of exploration and experimentation with materials and tools, stemming from the students’ original ideas. In addition to hands-on and experiential sessions, students also have opportunities to learn through direct interactions with artists, visit exhibitions, and showcase their own artworks outside the classroom.
