EVENT INFORMATION

Time: 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM, Saturday, November 13, 2024
Location: VCVAA Studio (No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, District 1)
Limited Slots: Maximum of 15 students
Registration Deadline: 6:00 PM, November 21, 2024
Participants: Ages 8-15
Exclusively for current VCVAA students, free of charge
Art & Work is part of the Student Life Enrichment series at the Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA), designed specifically for current VCVAA students. This session offers insights into various careers within the visual arts field, encouraging students to explore and develop essential art skills for future careers.

LinhRab – Comic Artist and Instructor at VCVAA

With nearly 20 years of experience as a comic artist and a graduate in Fine Arts from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and Multimedia Arts from FPT Arena, Mr. LinhRab also teaches comic illustration as a visiting lecturer at Hoa Sen University. Known for his dedication to storytelling and drawing skills, he strives to incorporate Vietnamese artistic elements into his work.

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

Activity 1 (25 min): Guest speaker shares about the profession
Activity 2 (40 min): Hands-on character creation and storytelling session titled “An Encounter”
Activity 3 (10 min): Sharing and reflections
Activity 4 (5 min): Commemorative photo session
