END-OF-SEMESTER SUMMARY FOR “LET YOUR ART SPEAK” AT VCVAA
“What do you want to tell through your artwork?”
Each artwork is a small story revolving around the world of each student. From the lines they draw, the materials they use, to the colors they express, all are key elements that help them narrate their story through their work. Each stroke, each color block contains the children’s creativity, joy, and emotions. Throughout a semester of learning and practicing art, the Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) has observed significant progress and increased confidence in the students as they present their artworks clearly to their peers, teachers, and parents. The development is evident not only in the increasingly refined paintings but also in their growing confidence, expressive abilities, and passion for art.
LET YOUR ART SPEAK PROGRAM AT VCVAA
VCVAA recognizes that students have been creating many emotionally rich and interesting artworks. VCVAA understands that sharing the emotions and meanings behind each piece is not always easy for the students. This is why the academy organizes the “Let Your Art Speak” program after each course to give students the opportunity to share their favorite works with teachers, parents, staff, and friends. The program not only allows students to express their pride in their art but also helps adults gain a more open perspective on children’s art while helping students develop presentation skills about art.
How can VCVAA students participate?
- Reflect on 1-2 favorite artworks.
- Share with the teacher to select the piece and plan the presentation content.
- Fill out the information and send it to the teacher to register for the presentation.
- Prepare the presentation content with the teacher’s guidance (the presentation lasts about 3-5 minutes).
- Maintain a relaxed and proud spirit to showcase their artwork in the end-of-course Let Your Art Speak session.
Let’s look back at the shining moments of the “little artists” in the recent summary session with VCVAA!
